An easy to use grammar exercise book which principally increases students' knowledge of the Italian language but which can also be used by both students and teachers to practise their grammar.

Each exercise is marked with asterisks that indicate the level of difficulty from a structural point of view. The answer key at the back of each volume allows for self-study without the supervision of a teacher.

"Palestra italiana" also includes a specific section dedicated to expanding students' vocabulary in which only words included in the first five thousand most frequently used words in Italy are used.
