Milena Agus (Genova, 1959) ë nata da genitori sardi e vive a Cagliari, dove insegna italiano e storia in un istituto superiore tecnico-professionale. Con nottetempo ha pubblicato Mentre dorme il pescecane (2005), Mal di pietre (2006), Ali di babbo (2008), La contessa di ricotta (2009). I suoi libri sono tradotti in cinque lingue. L'uscita in Francia del suo secondo romanzo stato un evento, di critiche e di vendite. Mal di pietre ha vinto il Premio Forte Village (2007) e si segnalato fra i finalisti del Premio Strega e al secondo posto nel Campiello.
