The Italian Project
The Italian Project

Authors: S Magnelli T Marin
The Italian Project is the bilingual version of the popular course Nuovo Progetto italiano (split version). To be completed in four levels corresponding to levels A1-B2 of the CEFR, this multimedia language and civilisation course combines a variety of activities with easy-to-follow grammar tables, modern illustrations and authentic Italian material.
It favours inductive teaching, allowing students to be at the centre of their learning, enhancing their motivation and encouraging participation. The course alternates communicative and grammatical elements while encouraging systematic work on all four language skills, thus providing a well-rounded approach to learning Italian which continually renews the student's interest. Furthermore, the 'Conosciamo l'Italia' sections, which are interspersed throughout the text, introduce the student to aspects of Italian culture and society to complement their study of the language.
The student's book and workbook are found together in one volume, along with a grammar appendix and glossary making it a compact course. An accompanying DVD with video series and audio CD are included with each volume*. An interactive CD-ROM is also available to download freely from the publisher's website. It contains a wealth of supplementary material for students and can be used in conjunction with the IWB.
The Italian Project is fully supported by 'i-d-e-e.it', Edilingua's brand-new online teaching and learning platform. Here you can also find the revised workbook exercises in interactive format. Click on the following link to find out more about i-d-e-e.it:
