Espresso Ragazzi

This exciting course from ALMA Edizioni is clear, modern and packed with engaging content for secondary school students.

A key component of the first two levels is the videocorso: a series of episodes with accompanying exercises that follows the lives of four young friends (Luna, Elena, Davide and Matteo). The videos are supported by the videogrammatica and videoquiz which aid comprehension and build on vocabulary and language skills. View a clip from episode 3 here:

The textbooks feature six comic book-style teenage characters while the audio and written texts focus on youth-oriented topics (such as friends, social media, school, the family and free time). The course teams gradual language progression with short introductions to aspects of Italian culture. It offers a variety of exercises for independent class work as well as plenty of creative tasks for work in groups and pairs.

Espresso Ragazzi is a three level course aligned to the CEFR: beginners A1, near beginners A2, and intermediate B1. Each level comprises a single compact volume with everything you need included: approx 90 hours of lessons for class-based teaching, a dedicated workbook section with answer key, revision tests, and glossaries for the student to fill in. Audio CD (and DVD for level A1 and A2 only) are also included.

The teacher's guides are downloadable free-of-charge in PDF format. A collection of interactive exercises and complementary material is accessible via a dedicated Espresso Ragazzi website.
